Dr. Alan J. Dunn entered the ministry in 1892, and has been a pastor of Grace Covenant Baptist Church in Flemington, New Jersey since its inception in 1985. He has been used by the Lord for the preparation of pastors in the ministerial academy hosted by Trinity Baptist Church in Montville, New Jersey for several years. Additionally, he has participated in pastoral and congregational ministries in the United States and in far countries, including Pakistan, Trinidad, and the Dominican Republic.

He and Patricia have been married since 1977 and have three sons, one daughter, and one daughter-in-law. Alan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cedarville College in 1975; a Master of Humanities from Western Kentucky University in 1978; a Master of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 1982; and a Doctor of Ministry from Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological Studies in 2014.
